A Visit To Iovino South Shore Family Center in Bay Shore.

Senators Owen H. Johnson and Lee Zeldin met with Family Service League President and Corporate Executive Officer Karen Boorshtein at the Iovino South Shore Family Center in Bay Shore to discuss services provided to the community. The tour included a visit to the Joseph D. Posillico Jr. Pre-School Learning Center which offers a Universal Pre-Kindergarten Program for 4-year-old children residing in the Brentwood and Bay Shore School Districts.
Family Service League touches nearly 47,000 lives each year, operating in numerous locations and Family Centers throughout Suffolk County. They help individuals, children, and families to mobilize their strengths and improve the quality of their lives at home, in the workplace, and in the community. Family Service League works with state and county governments, private foundations, benefactors from the business sector and individual contributors, transforming resources into effective programs through the personal efforts of approximately 500 employees and 1,000 volunteers.
