Senator Mattera Joins With SCPD For Coffee With A Cop
November 3, 2021
Senator Mario R. Mattera (2nd Senate District) joined with members of the Suffolk County Police Department's 4th Precinct to bring a special Coffee With A Cop event to Smithtown.
This program, which was held at Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea West Main, brought together the public and our community’s men and women in blue together in a casual setting for a relaxed conversation. The event was aimed at maintaining strong relationships and building trust between local law enforcement and the public.
“Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special event. The day was dedicated to encouraging communication and positive interactions between law enforcement agencies and our community. I want to send my deepest appreciation to the police officers who took the time to take time to participate and for everything they do for our region every single day,” stated Senator Mattera.
Senator Mattera will be joining with his colleague Senator Anthony Palumbo (1st Senate District) and the SCPD 6th Precinct to bring this program to Coram. The event will be on Wednesday, December 1 from 11 am to 1 pm at the Long Island Breakthrough Center, which is located at 3723 Route 112 in Coram.
