Senator Mattera Sworn In For 2nd Term In New York State Senate
January 11, 2023
Senator Mario R. Mattera (2nd Senate District), surrounded by family, staff, and colleagues, was sworn in by Judge Jerry Garguilo in a special ceremony in his district office. The ceremony signifies the start of Senator Mattera’s second term in the New York State Senate following his reelection in November.
Senator Mattera was joined during the swearing in by his wife Terry and their two daughters Jessica and Jayme.
“Anyone in office knows they would not be able to accomplish anything without the support of their family and I am so appreciative of their constant backing. I want to publicly thank my staff for all the work they do to make a greater New York for everyone and for standing by my side throughout the past two years. And I am deeply appreciative of the partnership I have with Assemblyman Mike Fitzpatrick, Supervisor Ed Werhreim, Councilman Tom Lohmann, and all of my colleagues in government,” stated Senator Mattera.
Senator Mattera was recently sworn in during a ceremony in the Senate Chamber earlier last week.
“I am so grateful to all who support me and thank you all for your trust! Most importantly, I want to thank all of the constituents in the 2nd Senate District for allowing me to represent them in Albany,” added Senator Mattera.
