Staten Island, N.Y. – On a chilly start to Spring, Staten Island Chuck proves his knack for accurate weather predictions, keeping his impressive winning streak alive.
This morning, to mark the first official day of spring, the Staten Island Zoo and Citizens teamed up for a special announcement. Alongside District Attorney Michael McMahon, student “weather checkers” from Susan E. Wagner High School were also in attendance.
At the announcement, Zoo director Ken Mitchell was accompanied by students from the local YMCA and Susan Wagner High School, along with their teacher, Robert Fendrick. Also present were representatives from Assembly Member Charles Fall’s office and Senator Jessica Scarcella-Spanton’s office.
