Senator Mario R. Mattera (2nd Senate District) was proud to join the family, friends, and leaders of Boy Scout Troop #349 of Smithtown as they welcomed six new Eagle Scouts to their ranks. Senator Mattera joined the celebration at the Nesconset Fire Department to congratulate John Campbell Gemmell, Zachary James Wynne, Andrew Pawlak, Kevin G. Zanfardino, Nicholas Conte and Zachary Connor Sanger on their achievements.
“These young men are role models for their peers and for our community and I wish them all the best in the coming years. I hope their parents and those who helped them on the way are proud of this accomplishment since their guidance has led to this moment,” stated Senator Mattera. “Congratulations to John, Zachary, Andrew, Kevin, Nicholas and Zachary on your very impressive achievements.”
Senator Mattera presented each of the young men with a signed New York Senate Proclamation to memorialize the event.
